I was tagged by Jessica, I think. (Okay, I'm a little late, but I've been preoccupied.) The deal is to ask a "would you rather..." question and then tag five more people. I'm not tagging anyone, but here's my question.
It's summer.
Would you rather (body or board) surf in the cold Pacific Ocean with big waves
-or-
in the warm Atlantic Ocean with small waves?

Great question! Well, I am a sucker for warm water so I would definitely say "small waves, warm water"
I would rather the warm water in the Atlantic because to be honest, I am scared of being too deep in the ocean so I'd probably ditch the board and lay out on the beach. The warmer water would come in when I wanted to "cool off" before my next round of laying out =)
Since I have a very healthy respect for the power of the ocean (thanks to a childhood near-drowning experience in the chilly Pacific), I would opt for the calm, warm water of the Atlantic any day!
You'll never find me more than ankle-deep in the water (regardless of the temp) if there big waves!
Whichever type of water has less chance for sharks and jelly fish...that's the one I choose!!
I used to love to body surf the "big" waves of Santa Cruz! But there's no way I get into that cold of water now days. But I definately still enjoy it in warm water even if the waves are smaller. Hey Pup, where did you get the picture of the wave?
Warm! I never got use to the chilly San Diego Beaches!
I painted it.
I lied.
Hey! Let's have some more would you rathers, or something! I'm getting bored with all the blogs!
