Perspectives
"At the all-important pivot of human history, the worst sin ever committed served to show the greatest glory of Christ and obtain the sin-conquering gift of God’s grace. God did not just overcome evil at the cross. He made evil serve the overcoming of evil. He made evil commit suicide in doing its worst evil." John Piper, in his forthcoming book, Spectacular Sins.

Jesus is a real man who lived 2,000 years ago, but He is also the holy God who created heaven and earth. He is that terrifying, awesome God who is so incredibly pure and unreachable, but also the Man who became a friend to sinners and wants to be a friend to me.
Oooh, I love this one too. I found it a few weeks ago and used up my entire class break playing it. I felt like all that studying for the GRE that I did a few years ago really payed off . . .
So, be honest, how many grains of rice did you end up donating (aka-how much time did you waste)?
I donated 1000 grains. I was trying to figure out how much 1000 was equal to. . . I'm guessing that's about how many grains Caleb left on the restaurant floor at the restaurant we ate at last night!
p.s.--I should probably clarify that I don't think donating rice to a 3rd world country is a waste of time. It's just that it took me 30 minutes to donate 1000 grains! =)
Rebecca... 1,000 grains on the restaurant floor? Before or after soaking and cooking? 'Cause I'm thinking 1,000 grains of cooked rice is about 2 cups. (messy boy!)
Well, I don't know that it was ACTUALLY 1000 grains, but that's what it seems like. I'm always amazed at how much rice he is able to get everywhere but his mouth! Of course, that only happens when I let him feed himself his own rice. If I feed him, there are 2000 grains! =) Haha, just kidding.

Most excellent fun! I ran over my lunch break on this one!
I got up to a level 44. What does that even mean? Is there any correlation to reading level for this score?
Keep the fun games coming!
We should really put together a family blog for all kinds of great fun such as this and the other game.
